The Preserve was formed according to the state mandates created by Yingst Homes, Inc. that also sat on the initial Board before turning it over to the residents of The Preserve. The residents then voted for The Preserve's HOA members. Your neighbors that currently serve on the Board are:
Craig T. Smith - President
Jay B. Bowden - Vice President
Jason Ahrens - Secretary
Jessica Lelii - Treasurer
Chris Tanner - Member-at-large
Your Homeowners Association (HOA) is responsible for interpreting the adopted Covenants and covers 45 homes and common grounds. These include the homes on White Birch Lane, Brookview Court, and Beaver Creek Road, including the cul-de-sacs.
The Board strongly believes in not only abiding by the Covenants established in The Preserve, but also is concerned with the homeowner and its adjacent neighbors. Before any action, we try to resolve situations and disputes, as well as gain perspective from the neighbors surrounding the issue.
Each and every Board member has and will continue to talk with homeowners and neighbors about their concerns and gain perspective before making any decisions. We are all part of the community too, and are vested in our neighborhood…just as you are. If you would like to reach out to the Board, our contact information is listed. We welcome the opportunity to meet and talk with you.
The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is a vital part of maintaining the aesthetics and property values of our homeowners’ properties. Two members of our HOA Board comprise the Architectural Review Committee, which is charged with the responsibility to act on actions and applications filed by our residents and address restrictions outlined in the Covenants. Typically applications involve the addition of fences, landscape components, pools, and other structures. However, other restriction issues include possible misuse of public land, cars parked on streets, general unsightly property management, or other issues that occur contrary to community standards defined by the Covenants.
Current members of the ARC are:
Craig Smith
Chris Tanner
Jay Bowden

The Preserve Yard Sale!
A successful resident-organized Yard Sale brought buying traffic to our streets and dozens of residents participated. The HOA cooperated and helped with traffic flow and resident communication, and organizers Brittney and Chris Tanner notified residents with flyers, posted ads online, and the success was aided by one of this fall's most beautiful days!

RETENTION AREAS-When are they done?
From John Zervanos, Yingst Homes, "Basically in Phase 4 which was recently top coated, there is a basin behind Lots 100-101/ behind Lot 108/ beside Lot 112. The final stabilization has commenced mainly on the slope areas. There will be pine tree plantings behind Lot 108 (previously Installed) and pine tree plantings will be installed behind 100-101 (which are scheduled for later fall planting for the reason of having better success in survivability). The actual basin bottoms will be addressed as the weather conditions permit (temperatures/rain events, etc. to have the best opportunity for establishment.) We plan on being completed in the very near future. Hopefully this is favorable news".
Having a big sale, on-site celebrity, or other event? Be sure to announce it so everybody knows and gets excited about it.
We are your neighbors and are happy to help!

PLEASE WATER YOUR TREES
With the lack of rain we've been receiving over the past few weeks, BJ's Landscaping believes that the trees that have turned color can be salvaged and recommends 20-30 minutes of hose water per tree.
They also let us know that bags some of us have around the trees are not enough for the amount of rain we're not receiving.
